“We are redeemed from the curse of the law because Jesus Christ, by dying on the cross as a lamb of the Lord, paid with his blood for our redemption. We are no longer in bondage, where principalities and powers in higher places have dominion over us. Now, we are transformed into the Kingdom of the Most High God” Galatians 3:13.
We are freed from God’s judgment because Jesus, by His actions, became the curse for us. He has taken the curse for us and has now restored us, or at least those who accept Him, to having a relationship with God, now and forever.
Part of the function of the holy spirit is to convict us of our sinful nature. This then helps us to ask for the forgiveness of our sins, and Christ, in his infinite mercy, forgives us; then we are redeemed.
Ephesians 1:7 gives us the conditions under which we are eligible for redemption: it is through His blood and His grace, for the forgiveness of our sins. If you wish to understand how we human beings are redeemed, not with perishable things but with the precious blood of Christ without blemish or defect, it can be found in 1 Peter 1:18-19.
Lastly, Psalm 130:7 encourages us all to put our hope into the Lord at challenging times; For with the Lord is unfailing love and with him is full redemption.
Thank you for reading! I will post again on June 23.
