The Bible spoke in Genesis about a time a long time ago. Genesis 1:1 Said at the beginning the earth was without form and void. That is how the year 2024 is right now, people right now had only drawn plans and devised strategies for this New Year. But no one knows for sure what will happen from January to December with clarity conviction and surety of how the day-to-day activities will be. Therefore, we should still go into the year saying things we wish for.
We can, however, take a cue from what God did when the Earth was uninhabited. He created and spoke in Genesis 1:3 said, “Let there be light”, and there was light. According to the biblical account of Genesis 1:27, we are created in the image of God, and can do what he does! Also, Job 22:28 states, “What you decide on will be done.” Therefore, whatever we decide to do this year will be done for us if we abide by him. We have the promise stated in Job 22:27 that he will hear us.
Furthermore, God created the world for six days, and on the seventh day he rested as stated in Genesis 1:31. We must work the work, which was stated in John 9:4-5. This is the dawn of 2024, let us take action.
