The fall of Adam, the first man, cut off our direct access to God. But because he is a forever forgiving Lord; he made a way for us to return to him through his only begotten son, Jesus Christ, the savior of mankind.
Jesus came telling us we have to be “born again,” which can be found in John 3:3: ” Very truly I tell you, no one can see the Kingdom of God unless they are born again.” Matthew 3:2 further tells us of the requirements needed to have a relationship with Jesus: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”
Repentance is not the only requirement, as a confession of one’s sin is also necessary as stated in 1 John 1:9, and a renouncement of such sin(s). You must immerse yourself in the word of God and are thus enjoined to preach the word. Matthew 28:19 shows this perfectly: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you to the very end of age.” Be aware that Jesus has gone to heaven to mediate for sinners and prepare a place for all believers of his teachings.
Thank you once again for reading today’s blog post. I will post another one on November 25th.
